Every day of your safari is planned around optimal wildlife timing — early mornings for predators, late afternoons for the Mara River, and midday rest when animals are least active. Your guide may adapt this itinerary based on daily wildlife intelligence.
Nairobi Pickup → Masai Mara Arrival
Your safari begins at 07:00 with pickup from your Nairobi hotel or JKIA airport. We drive southwest through the fertile highlands and stop at the dramatic Great Rift Valley viewpoint — your first sweeping view of Africa's ancient geography. Arriving at the Masai Mara by midday, you check in, enjoy a hot lunch, and rest briefly before your first game drive at 15:00. The afternoon drive into the open savanna often delivers immediate sightings: lion prides, elephant families, and the ever-present herds of zebra and wildebeest. Return to camp at sunset for a campfire dinner under a sky blazing with stars.

Full Day in the Masai Mara
This is the heart of your safari. Rise before dawn for a 06:00 game drive during the golden hour when predators are most active. Cheetahs begin their morning hunt. Leopards descend from their acacia perches. Lion prides move across the open plain in the soft morning light. Our guides use years of local knowledge and radio contact with other vehicles to position you where the action is happening right now — not where it was yesterday. Return to camp by 10:00 for a leisurely brunch. During the midday heat rest, use the swimming pool or enjoy a guided bush walk with our naturalist. At 16:00 the second game drive begins, following the Mara River where hippo pods bask and crocodiles patrol the banks. Sundowners in the bush before returning for dinner.

Final Morning Drive → Return to Nairobi
An early 06:30 farewell drive — guests consistently say this is where something extraordinary happens. The Mara doesn't save its best for second-to-last. A final circuit along the Talek River and across the open plains before returning to camp for a full breakfast at 09:30. Depart the Mara by 11:00 and arrive back in Nairobi by approximately 17:00–18:00, with a scheduled stop at a craft market en route. Drop-off at your Nairobi hotel or JKIA.
